Kling & Freitag Showroom – Hannover

For many years, we at Kling & Freitag have been developing and manufacturing loudspeaker systems at the highest level. In September 2025, we took another important step forward: the opening of our own showroom, located directly at our company headquarters in Hanover.

The new space has been acoustically and technically designed to meet our highest standards and provide optimal conditions for demonstrations, training sessions, and events with up to around 100 participants. Here, visitors can experience all K&F loudspeaker series under realistic, acoustically controlled conditions and gain an authentic impression of the systems.

A particular highlight is the installed K&F SCALA Immersive Audio System, featuring two surrounding rings of GRAVIS 8 loudspeakers, along with an additional ceiling layer realized with PASSIO systems. The complete planning – from room acoustics to final calibration – was carried out by our experienced experts Christoph Wöhler and Marco Kuhnmünch.

“I designed the acoustics so that we remain within a very pleasant reverberation corridor, even in the low-frequency range,” explains Marco Kuhnmünch from K&F.
“This approach may sacrifice a bit of bass energy, but it results in significantly more direct sound – allowing for much more precise evaluation of the systems. We don’t want to hide behind powerful bass in a reverberant room, but rather demonstrate openly and transparently what our speakers are truly capable of. The acoustics closely resemble those of a classic control room and mercilessly reveal any weaknesses – our systems pass this test with flying colors. Our guests really appreciate being able to hear exactly what the loudspeaker is doing.”
