New Sound System for the Cultural Hub of the Region
With its diverse cultural and conference program, Stadtallendorf City Hall serves as the cultural center of the Central Hesse region. Under the technical direction of Paula Zels, the team ensures that every event is supported with optimal technical quality – from crystal-clear speech intelligibility at conferences to powerful sound reinforcement at dance events.
As part of a technical renovation in 2024, the entire sound system was modernized by our partner Thomann Audio Professionell. Due to its high flexibility, the City Hall team chose two VIDA L systems per side as the main PA. Thanks to state-of-the-art beam-steering algorithms, the coverage area can be flexibly adapted: when the partition wall is open, the entire hall is covered; when it is closed, the wall can be deliberately excluded as a reflective surface. Sonically, the system impresses in every configuration. In combination with the powerful NOMOS LT subwoofers in front of the stage, up to 1,200 guests can be easily covered, even at high sound pressure levels. In the smaller hall, VIDA M 220 systems provide excellent sound when the partition wall is closed.
