Dreikönigsspringen – grand finale of the Vierschanzentournee – Bischofshofen, Austria
The “Vierschanzentournee” is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious winter sports events in the world. It is therefore no surprise that the organizers of the “Dreikönigsspringen” – the grand finale of the tournament – make no compromises when selecting their technical service providers. Austrian company “E2 Event Engineering” has established itself over the years as a specialist in various Ski World Cup events, so it´s no question that they also do the famous “Dreikönigsspringen” in Bischofshofen.
“After Stefan Haussteiner (E2 Event Engineering) and his team achieved outstanding results with SEQUENZA 10 last year, expectations for SEQUENZA 8 in 2025 were naturally high,” says Simon Habl of habl.cc (K&F Distributor Austria). “SEQUENZA 8 is smaller, lighter, and requires fewer amplifier channels than SEQUENZA 10. Yet it exceeded all expectations! The performance was fantastic, and the interaction with the SPECTRA 212 delays worked flawlessly.”

The key challenge at this event lies in sound coverage of the audience of over 14.000 People spanning across the landing area of the ski jump – with distances of up to 150 meters. The sound system must ensure excellent speech intelligibility everywhere, provide high sound levels for musical playback across all seating areas, and keep the interview zones for broadcast and television as quiet as possible. A high degree of directional control is therefore essential. This is where the integrated high-frequency adjustment of our SEQUENZA 8 system truly shines.
Experienced system engineer Niki Tiefenbacher was impressed: “I didn’t even apply a single filter yet, and the system already sounded incredible. Everything is clear and present on the stands, while the interview zones are really quiet. Thanks to the asymmetric adjustment options of SEQUENZA 8, we could easily exclude these zones. The system’s handling is also excellent, thanks to the well-thought-out rigging system. I’m really impressed.”

The “Dreikönigsspringen” 2025 was a spectacular event, and we are proud to have contributed to its success with our systems.
