Kling & Freitag Showroom – Hannover
For many years, Kling & Freitag has been developing and manufacturing loudspeaker systems at the highest level. In September 2025, we took another important step forward with the opening of our own showroom right at our company headquarters in Hanover.
The new room was designed both acoustically and technically to meet our highest standards and provides optimal conditions for demonstrations, trainings, and events with up to around 100 participants. Here, visitors can experience the entire range of K&F loudspeaker systems under realistic, acoustically controlled conditions – gaining a truly authentic impression of our products.
A particular highlight is the installed K&F SCALA Immersive Audio System, realized with two surrounding rings of GRAVIS 8 loudspeakers and an additional ceiling layer of PASSIO systems. The complete concept – from room acoustics to the final system alignment – was carried out by our experienced experts Christoph Wöhler and Marco Kuhnmünch.
“I designed the acoustics so that even in the low-frequency range we remain within a very pleasant reverberation corridor,” explains Marco Kuhnmünch of K&F.
“This means you lose some energy in the bass, but gain a significant amount of direct sound – which allows for a much more precise evaluation of the systems. We don’t want to hide behind booming bass in a reverberant room, but rather demonstrate openly and transparently what our loudspeakers are truly capable of. The acoustics are close to a classic control room environment, which also ruthlessly reveals any weaknesses – and our systems pass this test with flying colors. Our guests greatly appreciate that they can hear exactly what the loudspeaker is doing.”
